Kiera was born and raised in Brainerd, MN. She attended Brainerd High School and graduated in 2017. She was excited to start her next chapter by moving to Fargo, ND where she attended college at NDSU. Kiera graduated from NDSU and the Sanford Fargo School of Radiography program in May 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences upon graduation. She is a registered technologist in both radiography and computed tomography. Kiera lives in Cavalier, ND where she works within the radiology department at Pembina County Memorial Hospital and performs multiple modalities in general x-ray and CT. She enjoys working at a critical access hospital in a rural community and living on a family farm with her husband, son, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Kiera is proud to be a part of the NDSRT board and hopes to keep gaining new members to this wonderful society - it is time for us to Be Seen!
Raised in Perham, Minnesota, Leah brings over seven years of experience in advanced medical imaging, including four years in Computed Tomography (CT) and three and a half years in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Mary, and later completed a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare.
Throughout her career, Leah has served as a clinical instructor and new hire preceptor, mentoring students and new professionals in both CT and MRI. She is deeply passionate about advocacy, student mentorship, and advancing the radiologic sciences. As a board member of the North Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists, she is committed to pushing for greater visibility of the field and ensuring imaging professionals are seen and valued.
Currently, Leah works as a Clinical Specialist at Boston Scientific, where she collaborates with clinical teams to support innovative medical technologies that improve patient care.
She resides in West Fargo, North Dakota, with her two cats, Milly and Tilly, and enjoys traveling and exploring new places in her free time.
