I am Carla Barrios. I am the current chair of the board. I work as a Registered Radiologist Assistant/Radiology Practitioner Assistant with Bismarck Radiology Associates. I really love working and advocating for Radiology and hope to see the society continue to grow.

Kiera was born and raised in Brainerd, MN. She attended Brainerd High School and graduated in 2017. She was excited to start her next chapter by moving to Fargo, ND and attending college at NDSU. Kiera graduated from NDSU and the Sanford Fargo School of Radiography program in May 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences upon graduation. Kiera is a registered technologist in both radiography and computed tomography. She briefly worked as an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND. Kiera now lives in Cavalier, ND where she works within the radiology department at Pembina County Memorial Hospital in both general x-ray and CT. She really enjoys living in a rural town, spending time outdoors, and helping her fiance out on the farm. Kiera is happy to be apart of the NDSRT board and hopes to keep gaining new members to this wonderful society!

Leah grew up in Perham, MN. She attended University of Mary in Bismarck, ND, and Sanford USD Medical Center School of Radiology in Sioux Falls, SD, to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Radiologic Technology. After graduation in the spring of 2017, she began as a CT Technologist at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, completing her national registry for Computed Tomography in the winter of 2018. While starting her career, she pursued further education and completed a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration on healthcare, graduating in the spring of 2019. She briefly worked at the Fargo VA Medical Center as a X-Ray/CT Technologist from 2020-2021, before returning fulltime to Sanford Health as a MRI Technologist in the summer of 2021. She recently completed her MRI registry in January of 2023. Throughout her career, she maintains PRN status at her hometown hospital, Perham Health, in the radiology department. Leah is a passionate advocate for continued education and support for Radiologic Technologists and for ensuring patients have access to quality diagnostic imaging and procedures by licensed imaging professionals.

Angie was born and raised in Wishek, ND. Angie has 23 years of experience in the medical field as a CNA/CMA, but radiology in rural health care became her passion when the local hospital needed a technologist. Angie graduated from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD in 2019 with a BS in Radiologic Sciences. Upon graduation, she began working at South Central Health in Wishek, gaining her certifications in Computed Tomography and Mammography. She believes that it takes a village to make rural healthcare possible and is thrilled to be part of the board with some of her mentors. When she is not working or on-call, she enjoys reading, various crafts, cooking, camping, and expanding her plant collection. She and her husband of 10 years have two boys, Brantley and Braxton, as well as four dogs.
